When used on the 2008+ Seat Ibiza (6J
chassis), VCDS may
not be able to find the interface once its plugged into the car. We have
identified the source of problem to be a signal on Pin 15 of the cars DLC which was used as 2nd
K-line on some Audi models. We are not sure what it is used
for on the 6J chassis car because according to the wiring diagrams, it
doesn't exist!
Update: As
of VCDS Beta 812 and
interface firmware update v1.79, this problem is solved. Make sure the
option "Boot in Intelligent Mode" on
the Options screen is active.
